About Lights of Hope

Lights of Hope is one of our most visible and important fundraising campaigns. Since 1998, your gifts to Lights of Hope have raised more than $47 million! Last year, donors gave $3.6 million, funded 96 urgently-needed hospital and long-term care programs, and supported 7,000 health care heroes across Providence Health Care.

Join us on Thursday, November 17 as we kick off the holiday season with music, refreshments, Santa, and the official countdown and lighting ceremony for the 2022 Lights of Hope

This is a free, family-friendly event featuring:

Holiday favourites from St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church Choir and Sarabande, from the Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs.
Photos with Santa.
Food trucks.
Free hot chocolate (thank you, Beyond Coffee).
A craft zone where you can make holiday cards for residents living in our long-term care homes.
A mini store where you can purchase Hope at Home lanterns. Lantern proceeds and your donations to Lights of Hope bring compassion and comfort to patients, long-term care residents, and families right across BC!

Be part of the fun and festivities! Join us on Burrard Street in front of St. Paul’s Hospital. Be there by 6:00 pm to see the fabulous display light up for the first time!
